“We won’t forget eachother, right?” Asked Endie, picking apart a daisy in her hands
“No way!” said Michael, withc childlike innocence “We’re best friends, we’re never gonna just forget eachother!”
“Never ever? Forever?”
“Forever.”
He laughed sadly, “Thanks Michael-"
“Why’d you ask?”
“I just… had a feeling.” They laughed sadly, “It’s probably nothing.”
Endie ran toward them, their oldest friend, Micheal, they were back finally and-
Michael flinched away from the stranger.
“Who are you?”
There was silence.
“Michael? Michael it’s me! It’s-"
“I don’t think we’ve met before?”
But- they had. they had definitely met before, god would- god would know if she hadn’t…

“I’m sorry, I don’t know who you are..?” It wasn’t said with malice they- genuinely didn’t know who Endie was. Who their best friend was.
“What happened to friends forever? You said-“ Tears has started to well up in his eyes, “You said you wouldn’t forget me-"
