You know those connections that just... dissapate? One day theyre there, and then one day you realize you havent properly talked to them in months. And the lack of closure that naturally comes from that? I dont. lmao. anyway

Honors student, validictorian, not ivy league level but didn't stop coffee from getting a scholarship or two, all for ythe low low price of pretending he was cis o any recruters and teachers! fey's not on top of the world, but coff is happ with his life, fey has friends, is persuing a drgree he loves, and some of the nice proffessors will even use feir correct pronouns!

all in all, coff's just glad he got to move away from home and into a place that has real, tangeable options and opportunities. Could you imagine? Back there fey had to drive for hours just to get to the cubscouts meeting when coff was a kid. Nope, he doesn't miss it, or anything still there, at all.

i basicallly made coff all thouse irrational fears that your friends wouldnt even notice or rember your absense real and manifest. He hs other friends now, fey's sucsessfull, coff's a good person. that was a part i wanted to emphasiz that he isnt bad for wantinig to move on with feir life. It can just really fucking hurt knowing that someone who youve torn yourself up over is fine and well adjusted.
